To all that are running these tires with stock, or aftermarket rims...did you notice any difference in MPG? Also for those on the BFG's how is the ride compared to the stock 275/55/20's?
Yes, about 1mpg drop to my avg with wheels and tires from running the factory. That is without the airdam for both. I have P-rated tires though, you may lose a little more with LT's.

I just picked these up in 275/60r20. Went back and forth between the Duratracs, KO2s and Wildpeaks but the Duratracs won because of their weight and snow performance. I also got a great deal on these locally, so they ended up cheaper then my other considerations.

Not installed yet, waiting for my Bilstein 5100s and spacers.

Thread revival:

For you guys running 275/60/20 ... are you on a 3.73 or 3.55 rear end?

I have fx4 with the 3.55 and love the look of 275/60s but wonder if my truck will drive ok with one size larger tires. I have a 5.0

I may end up getting stock size 275/55 in all terrain even though it doesn’t look as good as 275/60

I have no plans on a leveling kit or any suspension upgrades.
I do mostly highway driving...
I know my speedo will read a few mph slower than what I’m going... does that also mean my actual mileage on the odometer will be a little LESS than actual mileage?

I'm wondering if the 275/60/20 will fit with a +1 offset and no level, anybody have any experience with this?

Here's mine. I've got the 3.31 axle ratio and noticed about a ~1.5 mpg drop in mpg. I also fixed my speedo with FORScan. Also to note, I went from 275/65/18 oem chrome rims and oem tires to these so that also will contribute some to the mpg drop.

You'll be fine with the 60's, I have the 3.55 rear, stock suspension, and the larger tire actually corrected my speedo (it reads a little low on the stock 32").

How did you find the spacers affected handling? Do you have a link to the spacers you used?

Thanks

3.55 RE here, honestly can't tell any difference, but I imagine my case is a little different as I went with P rated tires while most bump up to E rated, so I am about 30lbs lighter per tire. As far as fitting without level it will depend on your wheels. If you are stock, or at least not to aggressive with your offset (+20 to +44) you should be rub free. With the stock suspension my set up (20x9, +12, 275/60/20) would rub if I hit bumps while reversing at full lock. I have since added 5100's at the 1.75" setting and no longer rub. Here is an updated pic.
