So with this you have to use adhesive to attached the mount to the dash/console?

It already comes with a 2 sided tape attached and from experience it is easy to remove without any marks with a hair dryer. Just don't expect the hair dryer will work in your truck power outlet

The console without the floor shifter is pretty ideal to store my phone. Just put it in the space where the shifter would be and it fits perfect. Can see GPS perfect.

Just stay off the phone when driving!!!!
