The Dealer order guide actually lists it as XL9. It is included with the 53C max Trailer tow. Here is the link to the order guide. Page 21 of the guide.

Anyone have a fully loaded KR without the sunroof? I know with the sunroof they're ~ 1500... Maybe since I'm waiting for '16 (Sync 3 *fingers crossed*) they'll also offer a higher payload option on upper trims/options, or perhaps add some extra payload to the max tow like they have in the past...
Then again, waiting for the 16 f150, I may get to see what engine options they'll release for the new SD (17 MY?) which may push me to wait for that... though ugh, I want a truck now, just sync 3 (with android auto/apple carplay support) to me is worth waiting on.

So I came back here after a while... and I am VERY disappointed.
I use to drive a 2012 FX4, SCab with max tow that has a maximum payload of about 1900lbs (can't recall exactly). Two years ago I replaced it with an HD diesel (another brand, sorry) because payload was too low.
After 2 years it's time for a new truck and I was really hoping to come back to an F150 (just loved mine). Ford has been bragging about this 700lbs weigh reduction and the were claiming this would increase payload.
They did increase payload a bit vs previous gen but not hat much (about 150lbs). What happened to the other 550lbs they shaved off?!

HD Payload option with the 3.5L EcoB still looks like a good way to go for towing. Should be able to get 2200# payload in a SCrew XLT 4x4.
Why don't you like your HD diesel?
We'll be upgrading in a year or so and am also looking around. The F150 HD Payload is one option. Another is the Nissan Cummins Titan XD. We'll see what things look like next year ... price points are important.

Just hope you were joking with a 10000lbs 5th wheel and a 1800lbs payload... a 10000lbs 5th wheel has a minimum 1700lbs hitch. Where the hell are you gonna sit and where are you gonna put you stuff?!

Maybe only 200-300# increase in payload generally as they also dropped the truck's GVWR and GAWR along with the reduced curb weight.

That being said... I just hate the look of the 157in WB that you still need for HD payload (no offense to anyone, it's my opinion). So won't consider that.
I love my actual truck. An heavy duty truck with a 6300 RAWR and 10000GVWR isn't comparable to a light duty truck. It tows MUCH better, has WAY more power than my previous EB even with my 35in tires but it also rides WAY harder, doesn't fit in underground parkings and diesel is a pain in the winter. Also, I just like having a new truck every other year and a 2015 F150 was on the top on my list.
BTW, it's nice to see that this forum is still very active and still contains good information. Can't say the same about other forums I visited in the last months.
Cheers

You should have taken more time. I clearly said 145" SCABS will be able to tow a 10k 5th wheel. They do still make those and the are 6 1/2' beds. The above Lariat has 2000# on a Scab 4x4. The XLT/XL are closer to 2200#. Combine that with a lightweight Anderson 5th wheel hitch, and it is VERY possible.
Don't fool yourself or others.
But you're right... I missed where you said SCab and not Screw, sorry.

EDIT: actaully rear GAWR is 3800# with the 5L and 3.5L EcoB, so not so bad. See corrections later on.
