Bourgeois in Midland has several of them. I've seen a couple black ones, a red one and a blue one on their lot and know they have more coming in.

Interesting... Unless you go LED, you don't gain a whole lot of "black out" with the Halogens. None the less, the black halogens are a definite improvement over the chrome ones.

Guys, just a heads up. As already mentioned in this thread, when you order the 2016 black LED headlights, they do not come with the bulbs (over $2200 CAD for headlights and they don't even come with bulbs, crazy). I knew this ahead of ordering, but figured since I have a Lariat 502a with chrome LED's, that I'd just be able to swap the bulbs over to the new housings. This is not necessarily the case, and it wasn't for me. It appears as though your build date matters here. 2015 build dates with LED heads August or earlier have removable bulbs, so the swap will work. 2015 build dates September or later do not have removable bulbs. It's a sealed unit. I have an October build date, and found out after removing one of the headlights that I cannot get the bulbs out. And it's $1400 CAD additional to buy the 4 bulbs! Needless to say I will be returning my housings. Over $3500 CAD just to get black headlights is insane. Pretty disappointed.

My build date was April 2015. I have the "doors" (physically checked previously) in my LED headlamps. My bulbs are transferable to the new appearance package headlamps. So I ordered them from Tasca.

For the two headlamps (without bulbs and ballasts) they are $1220.27 plus freight.

I am one of the lucky ones as I really wanted to get these. If I had to spend more for bulbs etc. I would have passed.... can't wait!!! This is pretty much the finishing touch to my truck.

They arrived, empty as I anticipated. Switched the ballasts and bulbs over from mine to the new ones and it became plug and play. What I like is the lens is not smoked so the light (brightness) is not affected, still LED bright. They look smoked the way they are built with the interior painted black.

Super happy with the way they turned out. Couldn't (IMO) look any better. Will put up a pic a bit later tonight.

Soooo, what's a guy gotta do to get the fancy LED housing and bulbs for a Lariat 501A package? From what I'm seeing, spend a total of $2500 for empty housings and then some bulbs?
