Here's a couple of pictures - in your opinion how does that compare to what you've seen? Do you think the body shop would do a better job matching?

Honestly it's really hard to tell in the pictures, amigo. Nevermind what we think, if you don't like it, take it back and RAISE H*ll! I'd wager they'll make it right...

Mine matched when I took delivery but now 12 months later, there is a difference. That's just what happens when you want a white truck with 2 different materials side by side. Won't stay the same color. The plastic will always change

Not that I've ever experienced. Not with modern paint anyway. Old days of laquer? Sure.

My old Co workers 08 f150 has all painted flares and such, they all still match

I am on my 3rd white f.150 and all have not matched after about 6 months to a year. The plastic trim pieces on all 3 has slightly changed over time. Nothing super noticeable unless you look close, but I can tell.

Same thing has happened to the guys I work with who own white Chevy's and Dodge's

Never seen that with modern paint. I've seen it not match from factory. But never seen it develop over time. I've had a few white vehicles, hell I've painted thousands of white vehicles, it's never developed that I've seen.

My guess is, that it always was off, and it just took awhile to notice

interesting. And mine have all matched when I took delivery. I checked the past 2 times to make sure haha. Just gets a hint of "yellow" to it. I'm anyone else who has walked by doesn't even notice it.

Modern clear coats uv protection is leaps and bounds over the paint of yesteryear. Even over the clear coats of the 90's. My dad just got rid of his 2001 white s-10. All these plastic still matched the metal on that thing. Sat outside its whole life

That is pretty terrible - mine certainly isn't that bad, but it's still not what I'd call good. Depending how the lighting is it looks better or worse. I'm on the fence if I think the dealer would do a better job.
