I guess I never put shades up there because my wife had hers there and it rattled like crazy.
The Oakley’s won’t rattle up there, at least my gas and don’t. I can’t stand scratched lenses, it drives me nuts looking through them. Once there’s enough scratches, I replace the lenses.

Guess I’ll try to put my spare in there. As for Oakley lenses, they are expensive!

I’ve replaced lenses and those rubber nose bridges and side grips. I’m too rough on my shades

Yeah the Oakley polarized replacements are expensive. My brother told me about this company called fuse lenses, and I get polarized replacements for $40. They also seem to be a little more scratch resistant.

I used to be a die hard Oakley fan, now I am a die hard Costa's fan. These Costa's I have now have lasted longer than any Oakley pair I've had in the past.

I stick mine in the long narrow recess in the center console next to the shifter. I'm not used to having a sunglass holder so I never even think to use it!

I guess I’d do it at least once. I live in Texas and have never had any issue....so I wouldn’t even think about it being an issue. It would be very disappointing to climb into my truck and find a puddle of sunglasses.

I do hope my sunglasses were constructed of materials that would survive sitting in a closed vehicle in the Arabian desert. Surely, those folks wear sunglasses too.
