The frames get all chipped up too. I always buy the Flak glasses. The Oakley logo actually fell off or got ripped off of one of the sides lol I'm not good to them admittedly. Time for a new pair soon!

I stopped putting mine up there as they get too hot here in the south. I actually wish that compartment was the flip down curved mirror that is in the '18 expedition to see what the kiddo is doing in the back seat. The overhead consoles look the same, maybe it can be a new mod.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one!! I toss mine in that recessed tray on the dash above the radio.

Mine started failing to close a month or so ago. Takes 10 times to slam it just right to get it closed so I stopped closing it. Tried to mess with the latch to no avail. Took the truck in for an oil change today and they are replacing the holder under warranty.

I just put mine in the square storage on top of the center stack and a spare in the center console (ever gone fishing without shades? It sucks. Have a backup) I wear nothing but Oakley’s. Tough as hell. All my lenses are scratched up but what shades aren’t.
I guess I never put shades up there because my wife had hers there and it rattled like crazy.
