You could get one of those vacuum evacuation type oil drainers. Amazon sells a bunch.

I would drain it all into a clean container so you can measure the actual amount and then put the right amount in.

I picked up a hand pump fluid extractor from Harbor Freight mainly to refresh the tranny fluid in my Jeep XJ via the tranny dipstick.
That dam thing works excellent and relatively inexpensive to boot.

I also use it to change oil in my lawn tractor via the oil dipstick, again works excellent.
The drain plug in my lawn tractor is in the worst possible place which created an unbelievable mess before i got that HF extractor.

Tell the garage to fix what they messed up. You did give them a chance to make it right, correct?

In my case, it meant an apology, that oil change on the house, and the next one free too. And that was at a Ford dealer... (If a Ford dealer, point to SSM#45195).

I have used a 12v extractor pump on my inboard boat engine for over 20 years. It does a good job. You have to have the oil hot, though.

In your case, I would just ease the drain plug out and let some oil drain.

What does the start stop have to do with draining the oil?
