My truck is the same way. It gets so much dust in the bed when driving down dirt roads. It's not a huge deal, it's just really annoying.

My dads 2004 Ford Ranger has all the seams in the bead of his truck sealed. It came from the factory that way. Don't let anyone ever tell you they have never sealed them.

Source an industrial supply co. (like McMaster-Carr) and buy some butyl rope. Apply on a hot day, to your cleaned and dried bed cracks, kiss your dusty bed goodbye.

I don't know of any year Ford or any other brand having a Sealed Bed?

It doesn't make sense to seal a Trucks bed?
Rain and Snow have to get out somewhere.

There isn't a TSB so thru your own means, fix it,

I you would bother to read all the posts you would know there are different types of silicone you can use. So use it already and fix it. You have the means. lol

With a little luck this thread will be locked soon before it deteriorates to the point that folks will end up being banned.

I should take delivery this week. Dealer is putting in Line-x for me. I'll be sure to ask that they ask to seal the bed as best they can.

In other news, the forum is broken down into generations, perhaps sub forums for XL - XLT and then Lariat and above...lol joking of course

My dads 2004 Ford Ranger has been sealed , bought it like that from The Ford dealer New in 2004. Ford used to do a lot of extra stuff to the trucks 12-14 years ago without all the extra money for it.
