Love the bedstep! Didnt purposely get it the truck had it. It works great.
Push button start was a must for me.

- HDPP (plus the 36gal tank & 3.73 lockers that came as part of the package)
- Rear camera & back-up sensors
- 4x4
- 5.0L engine
- 6-speed transmission
- No auto start/stop

(the last two are more of why I opted for a '17 instead of a '18)

Agreed! I basically "accidentally" got the tailgate step because they sold the other truck I was looking at before I committed, and the one I got was $300 more because it had the step, so I said yeah.. what the heck, but it's been the most awesome thing ever..

Tail-gate step, rear-view camera, Ecoboost 3.5L V-6, 36-gallon tank, towing package. And Green Gem Metallic - one of the prettiest colors the F-150 has ever had - with a tan interior. 2012 F-150. Love my truck.

Default Options I like

Retractable running boards, backup camera, tailgate step, remote start plus I wish I had navigation. I also don't like the big shiny chrome grill, I changed mine to black.

Active Motion seats - great for long drives wish this was an option on lower trim lines, wouldn't mind going to a lower trim level to get a bit more room for cargo..
Active Cruise. Has worked flawlessly over 25K miles pulling my trailer. Keeps me far enough back from the semi I'm usually following. 8-)
Heated steering wheel, though it won't be a big deal in another couple of months...
36 gallon tank - gets me my idea of a full day towing, about 300 miles. 3.5 EB is getting me between 9.5 and 12 MPG with my trailer.

Kind of off topic but does anyone know what trim the auto dimming rearview side mirrors comes in?
