Opinions! My no Air dam look!
#31
I trimmed my down my air dam this week. This way I don't have the holes left from the screws/bolts. I used the same contour line of the lower air dam had and taped it off. Used a Dremel Tool with a cutting wheel and then sanded it down to smooth it out. Nice compromise which has a nice line to it.

I took mine off months ago before the snow came, but with nicer weather ahead I'm gonna be putting it back on. It was put there for a reason. I can't say how it affected mileage because I put on winter tires and we got winter gas around the same time. I do think it makes it look taller (higher off the ground), but it makes the whole front end look shorter and smaller, especially when parked next to a silverado or ram.

It wasn't hard. Just took a little time. I was like a gorilla with a football, messed around with it until I liked the finished product. Small orbital sander finished the edge nicely.

Just take it off, you'll never miss it. Dremel with plastic cut off wheel for the tabs your down in 10 mins start to finish. I already almost ripped it off, it seriously limits your clearance off road.
