Default Opinions: Buy 2018 F-150 before 1/2/18 or wait?

I was planning on getting a new 2018 F150 XL STX with the 2.7 towards the end of 2018, but the rebates/discounts still seem to be good even on the 2018s, hovering around 8-10k below MSRP. I've read the other thread on best time to buy, but wondering with economy doing good now if there wont be as many rebates/discounts come June or End of 2018? Just wondering what everyone's opinions are on the situation.

Thanks for any input!

Buy before the end of the year and reap the tax benefit. Or wait and buy at the end of next year.

Compare the old years versus the new, as they omit many things such as tow and gear and gear ratio. Just saying I have owned a 2010, 11, 13 and 15 now 18 an the 18 is a mystery when building. You get what you dont see is what I gather from the 18's.

Only if you itemize, and you get the option of deducting state and local income taxes or sales tax, not both. I guess if your circumstances merit it, but if you’re buying a brand new truck, you’re not likely to have a small income that drives a state and local income tax lower than the sales tax on the truck as well as other goods.

If I was buying a 17, I would purchase before 1/2. I would wait till March Truck month before I would purchase an 18.
