Question One of these things is not like the other (seat belts)

My passenger made a comment about the felt padding on the seat belt clip coming off, with it being a brand new truck and all. I then asked "What felt?".

Turns out, there is felt on the front and back of the passenger front seat belt clip...there is none on drivers side.

Is there supposed to be felt on the seat belts fasteners? FordService?

Mine is the same way... Not sure what the felt is for just on the passenger side seat belt.

The passenger felt is to dampen any noise from an unbuckled belt against the seat or B pillar

The driver's side is (should) always be buckled so no need for felt

Felt may help prevent marks on the b pillar....would be nice to have them on all belt buckles IMHO.

Initially my drivers side did have the felt on it. It came off quickly with use.

I haven't yet cut pieces of the loop side of some velcro to replace it, but I have entertained the idea. If only to dampen the sound the buckle makes when you let it return.
