Thanks for the positive feedback, guys!

CPORTf150 - I'm pretty old school and one of the few people not on Facebook. Great suggestion, I'll get my wife to help me out with that! I'm looking for any possible ways to draw attention to it.

As far as color options, Lego has the final say on design if I get to 10,000 supporters. You can add comments through my project link on the Ideas webpage that will be read by Lego, flame blue would be pretty sweet!

Dude that is amazing! It is ridiculously detailed! I'll support it! I'd love for my future kids to be able to have my truck as a lego!

So as a past Lego kid and a dad of a 5 year old I have some questions.
Did you plan out what you needed and buy the pieces separately or is it made up of many kits?

Where can you buy the pieces al la carte?

Why does it hurt so dang bad when you step on them in the middle of the night?

I have been a Lego fan my whole life, so never threw out or sold any of them. I have a good sized collection, but had to purchase some pieces to get the right colors.

Shop.lego.com has a pick-a-brick theme where you can purchase individual pieces, but I also had to buy a couple random sets that had specific pieces I needed that couldn't be purchased individually.

I hear the Lego store sells individual pieces, too, if you have one nearby, but the selection is limited and always changing.

That's a really close replica of my truck! As long as you put the 5.0 in it. Haha

I actually tried to replicate the 3.5 liter V6 EcoBoost...

You certainly have good taste, though!
