Yeah i agree with you! I just waited for as many Ford incentives as i could and tried to get the lowest interest rate when I bought my truck, it makes the blow a little less dividing that extra "newtruck" cost over a period of 3-5 years depending on your loan plan...but as you said....it depends on the individual

Im just glad the OP stood his ground and got what he deserved even though i know he was stressed the whole time..and still handled it with class ...kudos

It's legal as well in the state of Ohio but I guess you really should check your local laws before doing it.

I think the question should be "how are you making out with the new rig?"

The local dealer has about 15 MY2016 KRs and Platinums on the lot. They're offering 15K off sticker plus 0% financing on all of them. They were offering 25% off Lariats and XLTs. They sold those off in one weekend.

There are GREAT deals to be had right now.

Actually, it depends on the state and whether or not it is transferred across state lines before being re-titled. I used the "lemon law" on my 2001 Chevrolet in 2004. The lemon law buyback was under Washington state, but it was turned over to a dealer in Connecticut where I was located at the time. Two weeks later it was for sale on a lot in Danbury, CT at retail price. I contacted the buyer via the CT DMV who forwarded my information and he found out that it was branded a lemon. The CT DMV was quite interested in the fact that I turned over all Washington state paperwork and a sticker that was supposed to be adhered to the windshield stating it was a "lemon". The CT DMV and buyer handled the situation without any further contact from me.

Well, the buyback is complete and everything went smoothly with it! I am no longer the owner of that F150. I received ALL of my money back and I am already searching for my next truck. I went to the local dealer here who helped me with all of this because they deserved the first opportunity to get me into my next truck. We are working together to find exactly what I am looking for and I have a great feeling that we will find exactly what I am looking for.

I wanted to post up the VIN of the truck I just had so it will hopefully not get picked up by some poor soul on this forum. Please post it wherever it needs to be so people see it and don't get stuck with it without knowing its history. Thank you all for your help and support! it has been a rough stressful 3 weeks, but I hope my story can help those who may come to be in the same situation or are looking to purchase a used vehicle and learn what to look for and what questions to ask before they buy.

VIN: 1FTEW1EG2FFB28262

EDIT: Just looked at the Carfax and they are offering this truck for sale at the dealer already. Buyer Beware!!!! I can't believe it...

Glad it all worked out!
