I don't think there is one for the 2.7 at least not according to their website.

As has ben noted on this forum before, you'll not find a Fumoto drain for the 2.7 engine. Why? Brass drain configurations and plastic pans aren't compatible.

So I guess that means there won't be one for the 2nd gen 3.5 either? That's a bummer.

Default Drain plug

So I just did my first oil change on my 2016 2.7 EB. It was probably the fastest and easiest oil changes ever. I was wondering if anyone knew how long does the drain plug and oil ring suppose to last before replacement of either or both? My and maybe all 2016 did not require the ratchet to remove the plug. It now has a tab to twist off.

I keep a spare in the glove in case. Changed my oil about 5x already and still on the original plug. I'm sure it could last the life of the truck but have a spare in case it gets damaged. Plug is less than $3.

Thats exactly what i want to do. Where did you get the plug from? I guess it really doesn't matter since its $3-6.

Sorry, I have the 3.5. I didn't know the 2.7 was so unique.

Assuming it looks like the pic below, I'd not hold out for one. While possible to fabricate an adapter to a common threadform, it would be very expensive.

The part number is FT4Z6730A. Some have the ratchet (square indention) and some are like mine with a finger tab to twist it with your fingers.
