Default Oil changes can be dangerous... Look what followed me home!

Went in for an oil change on my 2014 F-150 XLT 4x4... While waiting on the wife to pick me up, I started roaming the lot. Fell in love with this truck almost at first sight, maybe this will teach her to be on time from now on! (Yeah right!)

Came down to two almost identical trucks -- one was a regular XLT with the navigation, 18" wheels (wanted the 20"), 5.0, blind spot monitoring, cross traffic notification system, cloth seats (which I wanted)... It was 900 less than this truck.

This truck is the XLT with the FX4 package, 20" wheels, 5.0, my touch (no navigation), cloth seats (which I wanted) and the corner mirrors (in the side mirrors) which I much prefer over having the blind spot/cross traffic stuff.

Found 3 paint issues (two chips) tonight and it's not even 24 hours old yet, hopefully the dealer can take care of this next week.

i got a 2015 3 weeks ago, had the same problem. It took them almost two weeks to get it back to me. They should take care of it no problem.

Absolutely beautiful truck. I just wish they would stop putting those good years on them. Goodluck!

Nice looking truck. Congrats. Hope you get the paint issues taken care of satisfactorily.

Thanks everyone!

I personally have no issues with the Goodyear tires... I will take them over a set of Michelin's any day! (For me) Michelin tires like to pick up trash on the road and cause a puncture more than any other brand I have ever used, so I avoid them like the plague.

My only disappointment (so far) is the fact that this truck did not have the HID lights -- my 2014 had them and I loved them. The dealer said the HID lights had been moved to only the highest packages.

Where are you finding paint chips? If there are common areas I'd like to know where to pay especially close attention on my incoming 2015.

Middle of the drivers door and on the edge of the door... Typical with what you will find if someone opens a door against the truck in a parking lot.

There is no dent, just missing paint.

Does your have the LED lights? I was unaware you could get HIDs on the '15s. I rejected two 2014s that had scratches. I couldn't believe a new truck could be scratched!

No, I have the halogens.

Dealer could have just been mistaken, but he definitely said you could get the HID's, but only on the very high end trucks. He did tell me the new halogens were way better than in previous years... The halogens on my '12 were pitiful.

After the basic detail by the dealership, I found a ton of spots that looked like scratches... Turned out to be the new glue they use to completely wrap the 15's during transport. I was able to easily remove them with a microfiber and some quick detailer.
