I was actually going to say its not THAT great of a deal IMO, I mean I'm just a normal dude without connections and had my choice of 3 2015 platinums in the 63k MSRP range that the dealer was selling to me at 48-49k back in December of 2016, and showing me full 'good' nada value on my old ram. So at best, after the maintenance costs required to get her back up to 'new' condition, its a savings of maybe 3k? Not a SCREAMING deal to me, maybe if it was a 17 model for that price, you might have had something. But a used 16 platinum is worth like 49k on A GOOD DAY, and I'd say more like 46k.

They're doing 13K off on 17s, mostly XLTs and Lariats. The high end trims are going for 5K off, which is D-plan. Not a deal IMO.

45 for a "new" truck isnt too bad, even thought it did have under 200 miles. Had they done an oil change, changed tires/rotate/balance (which they would have had to with new rubber anyways), its not bad IMO.

I meant the like 2k they give you for sport or chrome package, or nav discount or whatever...
like your MSRP on a loaded up XLT probably says like 55000 - 2500 XLT Sport/Chrome discount - 500 Nav XLT discount = adjusted msrp of 52000
so they they act like thats a discount they are actually giving you, smoke and mirrors. Ford built that discount into the final MSRP, the MSRP before those package discounts is a worthless number.

I called the salesman at my dealer, and that's the ticket. All those combined savings add up to 10K. Then on the sticker, they show a $2000 discount for the chrome package, and a $500 discount for Nav from the factory.
