It's in the same location where the the USB and audio input is on the 101a trucks. The 100a panel only has the audio input. It's the same input, just no USB.

I got my USB thumb drive in mine. 32gb can store a lot of music but I mostly play pandora using my iPhone through the USB since Bluetooth drains the phones so much

I assume your truck came with a USB? How hard would you say it would be to add a USB to a 100A truck? And would it even be possible to play music off of it. I would wonder if the head unit would even recognize the port to select it.

Yes mine came with one. I don't think you can add the option without a dealer flash or the main mother board. The new stereos are just a bunch of mother boards it's not an actual stereo like the older radios.

It won't work. There is no sync module in the 100a trucks.

You could buy the whole 101a setup and it would work. They are showing up on Ebay already.

You may need a vin number to get the as built data from a 101a truck and program the modules in your truck to get it to work. It may just plug in and work, I'm not sure.

It's a lot of hassle for a USB port. Mine is just getting aftermarket as soon as the installation kits become available. I'll probably just pull the pioneer one out of my car, I never drive it anymore since I got the truck. Although I sort of want nav, so I may get a new one.

Yeah, figured. I guess only options are to get the power equipment group or aftermarket head unit. Or just stick with the auxiliary port and just use my iphone/ipod.

Guess I need to research what aftermarket units with navigation work. Might as well have navigation as well.

I don't see them making a kit for a few more months. It's a lot to make everything integrated with the factory buttons
