Is it possible to replace just the center part of the grill from XTL Sport to Lariat style? I really do not want to change the complete grill

Thanks

No the grille is molded plastic one piece except for the emblem. what you have circled is essentially the whole grille so dont really understand what you are trying to accomplish. The emblems for the XLT grille is different for the Lariat grille as well

I like the lariat center grill and was hoping to swamp it with my XLT grille as I prefer the look of the XLT single bolder line vs the lariat dual smaller line. I was hoping the center part of the grille was either screwed or snapped on

Thanks for your input

So my curiosity has the best of me and I am looking at a possible project. The idea is combining the Raptor style grille with my STX grille. Obviously the big question that I have is if the Raptor grille is the same size as the 2018's? (Minus the side portions of course) Mainly looking at the angles and ensuring there wouldn't be too large of a gap. Looking at pictures they look fairly similar. If this grille will still fit in the new 2018 opening, my idea is to remove the side portions of my grille and add them on to it. Does anyone know if this is the case? I know this is a crazy idea but unfortunately, I've got a head full of crazy ideas haha.

I just did a copy and paste quick for the idea so it's not anything photoshopped by any means but just wanting to get the point across and also get some opinions:

If not, I really like the look of the Roush style grille. Obviously my truck is not Roush so I'm not wanting one that will say that but has anyone heard or seen any other companies making one similar to that?

Do you have anymore pics of this frontend disassembled?
Im working on the 17 to 18 conversion and need to see what’s exactly going on behind the upper trim piece, I’ve ordered all the brackets, needed to see how in particular they are fastened to the frame of truck.

New member/first time poster here. I finally retired (sold) the 2001 XLT and ordered a Lariat Sport last June and took delivery in Oct. I had wanted and planned for a 2017, but I missed the cutoff date by a week. That's all fine, as I got the exact same build I wanted for $100 less. The problem was/is the 2018 grilles. Like others here, the only one I like at all is the SE honeycomb. I couldn't justify spending for the SE pkg. just for the grille, figuring I'd take care of it later. Due to a bunch of traveling, later turned into a lot later. Now I'm trying to find a ruby red SE grille JL3Z-8200-SH, and they appear to be back ordered from Ford with no ETA. The truck has <2000 miles and the original Lariat ruby sport grille (that many folks want) is still perfect for resale......so far. Anyone have any ideas how I might find the SE grille somewhat quickly? Thanks in advance.
