My Shadow Black SE grille came in today. I wasn't sure STX or XLT SE has the sliver/gray honeycomb. This also has previsions for the front camera.

I believe it's the XLT Sport grille.

I agree, the rest are just butt ugly! Shame on you Ford!

I have a 2018 and I do not like the 2018 grille at all. I see some people swapped out their 2017 grille for a 2018...in that case I should be able to swap out my 2018 for a 2017 right?

Not just the grille the headlights bumper and trim pieces below the headlights on both sides. It looks to me to be big undertaking to make your truck look older.

Well since you put it that way...yea...I would tend to agree with you on that Mike.

I have a 2018 XLT 302A SuperCrew on order and am seriously thinking about ordering the SE grill for it I called my local dealer today for a price quote and they quoted me $411 on a STX grill (couldnt find a vin# for a SE)

What color is your truck? I can find you a VIN. Keep in mind the SE and STXs are not offered in all colors.

I'm not sure what you for a living but dealer parts department will offer pretty good discounts if you buy parts in a business name. It helps if you're wearing a polo shirt your companies name on it. I've never had them question if I just use my employers name. If that doesn't work make up business name and try another dealer, the discounts can vary a lot from dealer to dealer, I've never figured out a pattern. Show up in person, calling first doesn't work. I don't think I've even had a dealer not give me a parts discount if you ask. They will require payment in full so take your checkbook or credit card. I think I got about 30% off mine. Considering there was no shipping its not a horrible deal. Taska you can get about 35% but have to pay shipping and on something as big as a grill it won't be cheap. They aren't heavy, just BIG. Obviously figure on paying sales tax too which can be painful in some states.

The SE grill is nice. I'm not too fond of the other '18+ grill options until you start getting into the higher trims (King Ranch and above). The new appearance overall seems a little less rugged, but definitely more mainstream. I can see how it would appeal to some: it's not bad looking by any means, but just not an improvement to the look I prefer.
