OK I am starting this because people keep asking on the 2018 Official Grille Thread what emblem will fit on what grilles. After MUCH research and looking at pics of 2018 grilles on Ebay I think I have it figured out.
So here we go
Part Number FL3Z-8213-A This emblem fit ALL XL and XLT grilles EXCEPT XL STX and XLT Special Edition
Part Number JL3Z-8213-A This Emblem fits ALL XL STX, XLT Special Edition,Lariat,King Ranch,Platinum, and Limited Grilles that DO NOT HAVE A FRONT CAMERA
Part Number JL3Z-8213-B This emblem fits ALL Lariat,King Ranch,Platinum, and Limited Grilles that HAVE A FRONT CAMERA
If your grille has 4 bars (2 large and 2 small) then it takes FL3Z-8213-A
If your grille has 6 bars (2 large 4 small) honeycomb or 2 bars with mesh your part will be JL3Z-8213-A or -B depending on if you have the front camera or not

Does this emblem look like the right emblem for a 2018 XLT tailgate? The size is right but I want to make sure before I take apart the tailgate and remove the OEM emblem. Got this off of eBay along with the front but the bozo after multiple messages sent an 11.5” front with camera cut outs. Both my emblems measure 9.5”. Thanks for the help.

No way to tell for sure just by looking you don’t take the tailgate apart to remove the emblem apply heat to it and using a trim removal tool pop it off. The tailgate emblems are the same on the ‘15’s and up

Interesting. I've watched a couple of how-to videos on YouTube and they show popping the tabs on the emblem from the inside of the tailgate..
