Im working with 2 dealers right now for a lariat 4x4, 502, special ed package. Anyone concerned on getting the first builds with the HO 3.5 and 10 spd transmission ? Also that auto start/stop bugs. But I see someone has learned how to turn it off permanent. All that new technology makes me nervous, as you can't even work on your own truck in 5 years when its out of warranty.

2 schools of thought on this. You can be on the bleeding edge and have what's new or get one that's 3 years old with the bugs run out. You have to decide for yourself. I've decided to be a bleeding edge guy on this one. I don't drive a ton of miles and will get the 8 year warranty. But I will get what I want and it will be protected way beyond the end of my payments.

Nothing yet. Scheduling begins Aug 25. That would be the earliest I would expect anything to show.

I don't think I've ever had to wait for anything this long in my life. The Amazon Prime instant gratification society we live in and these forums certainly aren't helping! I feel like a kid three weeks (months) before Christmas.
