I think they should change the mod name from Bambi to zombie apocalypse. Sounds cooler.

But yeah. I love having it.

Forscan is easy, and the BT adapters aren't that expensive. Pick one up and do it yourself. There's quite a few more fun things you can do too!
I know it is technically illegal. My state does not have an inspection. I did this by hard wire and diodes on my 01 GMC 3500 Crew Cab Dually diesel and on the 06 GMC 3500 Crew Cab dually diesel I am trading for the F-150. I have never been ticketed for it.

How much is forscan? Guess I will have to figure out how to run it on a MAC as I do not have windows computers

Will Forscan change tire size?

Forscan is free... there's a sticky thread in the forum with loads of info to get started. I believe you can change tire size, limited to what was available from the factory. You can run it on your Mac in a Windows virtual machine - Parallels, VMware Fusion, Virtualbox, etc.

So how do people correct the speedometer for 35" tires and so on?

I have been looking at the Forscan thread, 500 plus pages, lots there will take forever to read it.

I used a Mac running Bootcamp with Windows installed. Best of both worlds, swapped in a 1TB hard drive and 8GB of ram into a 2011 Macbook Pro before I partitioned the harddrive and installed windows. The windows side has 300GB if I remember correctly. Did it in college so I could use the windows programs we were learning.

You'll need the hypertech speedometer calibrator. Not even the handheld tuners can change it on the newer trucks from what I understand. Forscan can change it, but you'll get a DTC and I believe a check engine light. I've heard that they're working on the software to be able to change it without a DTC, but it hasn't happened yet.

According to the hypertec web site, only the in-line calibrator works on the 2017 F-150. This requires dash disassembly.

Thank you for the good information

Fireimp141,
I have this problem also and someone just told me that I need the load resistors for the fog lights (I forgot to order them).
Best of luck
