Default OEM led lights housing

Anybody know if the housings are the same as halogens. Like if i bought a damaged (no tabs) headlight from a wrecker does anyone know if the internals of the headlight can go into halogen housing? Ive never seen the two side to side.
Maybe one of you guys have tried or have pics of both. 2000$ to buy them new is a little much and ive never had good luck with cheap aftermarket junk.

There are a few good auxiliary low beam LED lights that meet ECE standards. That may be your best option, if you are wanting them for better forward lighting.
