I am about to buy a Lariat Supercrew. I wonder if it makes sense to order the OEM box side steps or some aftermarket ones. I live in central Minnesota and I have read the concerns about the OEM locking in freezing weather or snow. Would this be a problem with the aftermarket ones or are there some that take the weather better?
