I would like to thank everybody on this thread who helped me out directly or indirectly with installing the entire system in my 19 Lariat Value F350. I finished it up today with the center console ambient cup rings. Everything works perfect, looks factory and acts factory. I will agree that the doors are the best part... thanks again everybody!

2019 lariat ambient lighting
anybody done this to 2019 lariat? I cannot get the ambient lighting screen to come up on my display using the 7D0 01 02 changing to a B. My build code already has the B in it. My code 7D0-01-02-022B-0004-8A95. If you got it to work, what values did you you use?
thx
well after a week of messing with APIM codes....tada

Seat ambient lighting
Where do the ambient lights for the seats go? Front or back and location. My 2017 xlt doesn't seem to have a spot for them.
Update:
After viewing pics of a 19 f250, I definitely don't have the bar running from side to side with the cutout in it. But I do have one running from the middle to the front. So I will be modifying them to house the lights.

I’ve been reading this thread over and over for a week! It’s amazing all this was figured out by the original poster and a few others! I am in a similar boat but am having the most frustrating time. I am hoping this is still active enough to get some help.
I have a 2017 f250 Lariat (sorry I know it’s an f150 forum but this place has the most knowledge by far here and same equipment it seems)
I bought my truck a few months and and it has no ambient lighting so I didn’t even know it existed until a ran across some of these posts. After looking around I found that under the dash for front floor boards and under the front seats for rear floorboards it is wired and has the connectors for ambient lights. The front seats actually have the led connected and in place for rear floor board but they do not function.
I have turned on ambient lighting access through FORscan, picked a color and turned it up and nothing happens. It’s been active and left like that a few days. I read about resetting the BCM and that may help. I tried that earlier and I could not get it to reset, it won’t finish the process with an error of sorts?
seems odd to have those 4 in places and ready, and two with leds already in place and not be on. Would assume it’s something simple?
