Default Odometer reading when picking up a new F150

Have any of you picked up a brand new vehicle with this many kilometers iethis reasonable that Ford put on this mileage for QA testing or could there be some other reasonable explanation?

Thanks

I ordered my truck in June of 15' and took delivery August 7th 15'.
I did a little Google earth reasearch and the distance from the Kansas City plant to the rail yard is quite long. Between those miles and the make ready test drive I think the miles on my truck are pretty low. FYI, my salesman filled my 36 gallon tank before I took this pic. His gas run was 1.6 miles of this 13.4. So 11.6 miles isn't too bad after delivery and make ready.

Did they note down the warranty starting mileage? Reason I ask is that several dealers near me and the one I mainly go to says warranty is 60000km (36k miles) on the odo. Though if just barely past the warranty mileage Ford usually accepts. Of all the fords I have purchased, not 1 noted the starting mileage. Now the last gm I bought in the late 90s, It did note the start odometer for warranty purposes.

If you ever get to see a car or truck before it is lot preped it will have a QC label on the windshield say it was drive x miles and by who before shipment . Which most are in the 25 mile range

Syclone Rob, yes they did note it. Oddly as I was doing the paper work for the extended warranty I asked about an extended warranty covering in excess of 100,000. Wouldn't sell it to me. Stated I had to wait until I had over 90,000 miles. Then I could add on. Anyhow I'm at 2 years and 25,000 so I'll be using most or all of that 5year/100,000 warranty. Only 14 miles round trip to work.
