We'll see. I just started reading this and need to find the hardware. I'd like to get rid of the horn honk and change the back up alert to default to off. Not the vehicle approaching from left/right but when backing straight up.

I haven't read the whole thread, but did read the last few pages from yesterday. Curious if this will also work with 2016 models. Seems like everyone has 2015 models or older.

Any links to obtain all the necessary parts/software?

I know I am lazy - didn't sleep well last night.

Thanks

I believe I found the tank size. I tried another line and thought I had it but it looks like the DTE gets reset when the IPC has a change so when I reverted the change I ended up with 41 DTE.

When I changed 720-03-01 I saw an increase to 63 DTE.

Is this what you're using to make all the changes or did you get a Windows or Android tablet to run and which ap did you download? What devise did you buy to download FORscan on?
Thanks

I used a 10 year old laptop with a bluetooth radio. My work laptop has bluetooth as well, but we are not able to install any non-approved application on those.

2015 and older only. 16s have sync 3. There are physical hardware differences between them and even between nav and non-nav models.

Sorry

That is probably the case. Now that they have shiny new Sync3 I would expect support for Sync2 to drop off fairly quickly.

On a related topic. I would have gladly paid Ford for access to install NAV after the fact (thru dealer). It`s a shame that they don't allow something like that to happen for those of us who ended up with MFT w/o NAV for whatever reason (in my case buying off the lot as oppose to factory order)

I used the Windows beta program with the SX connected to my win 10 laptop.

I have now ordered a MX Bluetooth and a cheap $60 Android tablet with blue tooth which will probably just be used for this kind of stuff.
