What a dumb system cali uses. Plates are required to identify a vehicle if there is a hit and run, dangerous driver, drunk, etc. So you could be calling the police that there is a black f150 with a driver appearing drunk, no plates, and with the volume of sales there could be thousands like that? In Ontario the dealer registers the vehicle for you, you pick it up with plates on it or they transfer from your trade.

I participate in several forums. Some are social and I post a good bit and some are more technical in orientation and I mostly read. I post if I have something that I think is worth adding but not just to up my post count or if I have a problem I'll ask a question. Since I've only been here a month I think I may have only posted one of each. So not everybody with a low post count is a troll...now back under my bridge...LOL

Maybe I'm a minority, but I kind of expected more issues than what I see posted... I actually came here prior to buying to do some research, since forums tend to draw out the issues in any build platform. I ended up staying after purchase for the mods, ideas and comraderie!

i used to be very active in mustang forums when i owned one. These forums seem to be a great resource. People posting about issues helps us all understand potential problems. There may be trolls but overall everyone here seems to have a level head, and we all share something in common, we all enjoy our F150s

Trolls are good for forums as they add to the entertainment value. I've been on the tundra forums for 15 years and since I bought a f150 I am now called a troll.

My truck has had a handful of issues with it but they were all taken care of by the dealer. I didn't bitch about them here or anywhere else though. **** happens. That's why there's warranty.

but to the point of the thread, some people aren't happy unless they are bitching about something.

I could be completely wrong..usually am....but I suspect there aren't so many "trolls" as people think. Just folks with problems that tend to be more "animated" with an online forum.

Overall, I think you have a mix of the following:
Trolls - 10% Just here to entertain & rile
Fan Boys - 30% Just here to defend their vehicle at all costs
Owners/researchers - 60% Just here to learn, share, have a good time with like-minded folks

Mind you, all data pulled directly from my ****!

I don't base a posters credibility on "post count". Everyone at some point started from 1 I believe.
