There are mobile versions of Forscan. But I don't think they can write to the computer.

Got a friend and a cell phone? One person with the PC and the other in the truck.

Can it be done overwifi instead of bluetooth? my dang laptop doesnt have bluetooth.

There are Wi-Fi adapters. But several folks reported it not working correctly.

I use a USB. Or you can buy a Bluetooth to give your PC Bluetooth

The best option is Bluetooth adapter with a Windows laptop any other combination of devices will either give you problems or have limitations.

Or, for $16 you can use the USB like I use.

The only problem is having a wire from the truck to the laptop. But you have to be in/near the truck for BT, so it's not that big of a deal to me.

I just returned an MX wifi for the BT version as it hardly works with Forscan.

I've heard the wifi ones aren't as reliable especially if
you are going to keep it plugged in for data logging. They disconnect often I believe
