Not F-150 related, but have to brag a little
So I've been battling kidney failure for about 2 1/2 years. Tuesday, after about 6 months of testing, many blood draws and Dr appointments, my wonderful, awesome, selfless niece donated her kidney to me. She literally saved my life! Here we are about 2 hours before we got discharged, with the Director of transplants at Roberts Hospital, Baylor Scott White in Dallas Tx. Went in on Tuesday, released Friday.
felt better immediately, it was such a change, I could not believe what "normal" felt like again. Still a long road to final recovery, but getting better each day. EDIT: IT STAYS RIGHT HERE! Good luck & God bless, your niece is a saint.

Damn, that's gotta be the ultimate trump card... if she wants *anything* and you refuse, "yeah, but I gave you a freakin' kidney!"
Glad you're feeling better, and huge props to her for doing something that selfless! |
That is fantastic. She is truly a saint! Yes, my friend, you look much better already. Thank You for posting this. |
Very cool man. Glad it all worked out and you're doing better.

Awesome young lady:D
My Dad always used to say what a blessing it is just to have your health. Whenever I think I am having a bad day( usually upset by something that is meaningless in the grand scheme of life ), I try to think about all struggles that some have to go through just to be healthy. Sincerely wishing you a long healthy life, Joe |
That is GREAT!
