Default Noise from rear while braking

I have a 16 supercrew fx4 with 1800 miles on it and while breaking fairly hard I'm hearing like a creaking noise from the rear. Anyone else experiencing this?

Really old post, but yes. Started hearing something just in the last week or so. Can't really describe it and it doesn't happen all the time.

I've been watching it for the past week. I think this is combined with the "clunk in rear end" issue. Two things are happening. First is just the brake noise. Just the groan of metal under strain. I'd call that normal.

Second is when coming to a stop. When the transmission shifts from 3rd down to first right as you stop, you get the clunks in the rear end. It's just like the clunk when you go from gas to brake, but this one bounces 2-3 times and with not as much "slack".

I'm going to park it in the garage in neutral tonight with the parking brake locked and see how much I can turn the driveshaft.
