Default No start problem

Hello, I could REALLY use some help and would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer!!!!!! I have a 2017 with the 3.5 EB twin turbo. I drove it, filled it up with gas, and the next day it didn't want to start, suddenly got it started, drove 2 blocks, check engine light came on as it lost power and would barely run. Now it won't run on its own. If I spray sensor cleaner into the throttle body, it will start up and run until it eats through the fluid, and then die. I have had the battery tested, I have spark on all coils packs and replaced spark plugs (they were fine, but since I had it apart I replaced them). I replaced the fuel pump driver module and the high pressure fuel pump, I am getting about 95PSI (650 kPa) off the pump in the tank. While it initially threw two misfire codes, it has not thrown any since. Do any of you have a suggestion as I am starting to lose my mind. Thank you very much!!

In reading your initial post, I observed in your order of events that "I drove it, filled it up with gas, and the next day it didn't want to start". All of your issues started just after these actions. I suspect a tank of "BAD GAS".

Home2#7, Thank you for the response! Maybe I will siphon some out and try it in our snowblower to verify. We do live in a small town and, upon asking around, I have not heard of anyone else having any problems with fuel from our only gas station. However, it is certainly worth a shot!

Don't stick a syphon hose down the fuel tank filler neck. It will get stuck in there and you will not get it back out.

This is not a very good video but it does show you what you need to do.

Hi there! Go ahead and send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer, and I’ll look into this starting concern.

The technique in the video will come in handy for those socked in by a storm and the only gas you have left to run generators etc. is in your vehicle.
