Default No service manual?

This truck is the first vehicle ever that I have not received a service manual with the vehicle. I rotated my tires for the first time today at 5k miles and went to write it in the service manual book only to find there isn't one. In the back of the user manual there is a a place for the dealer to write dealer service items but there isn't a service manual that gives suggested service intervals and a place to mark them down for a record of the service being performed.

There isn't even a place in the productivity screen to set up reminders for when it's time to perform service. I guess Ford doesn't want us working on our own vehicles?

I just bought a left over 2015. The Salesman took me around the dealership, one of the stops was the Service department; where a service representative gave me a copy of the service record, that shows you what, and at what interval, it needs to happen.

Default No service manual?

Starting on page 518 is the Scheduled Maintenance section, at least in my 2015 user manual. Also the engine oil life monitor system will tell you when to change the oil, if you trust it... ;-)

Here I thought you were referring to the *real* service manual. https://www.factory-manuals.com/expa...anual-391.html

No. I meant a service interval book were it tells you what maintenance needs to be done at certain mileage marks and a place to mark it off as done with the current mileage and date so there is a record. One has been included with every other car, new and used, that have ever owned.

Right. All there except for a place to write. Put receipts in a file folder... Dealership can print out service record when you go to sell.

That's all fine and dandy if you have someone else do the service.

I change my oil, I rotate my tires. No receipts.

Take a piece of paper. Columns:

Date Mileage Description of Service

If that doesn't work for you, print the pages from the manual PDF, bind them into a "book", and write on them.

You can use pages 527-533 to write things down. It's not blank lines but it would work.
