No body shops that fix aluminum
I spoke with a local body shop about this a couple of months ago, Ford is very particular about this. Not only are they to spend the money on specialty equipment upgrades, they need to have a dedicated bay for working on aluminum vehicles. This means they lose 15% of their capacity when they do not have aluminum vehicles to work on. This is a requirement to be an authorized factory repair facility.
It's going to get even more complicated as other manufacturers get their aluminum bodies online.

Jeffersonville, NY.
You're not that far from me and you're up near where my grandparents live. It is kind of in the middle of nowhere so a lot of things are not going to be local to you. However, you are currently about ~ 50 - 80 miles from several Ford F-150 Aluminum Repair facilities.
1) All American Ford of Kingston - Kingston, NY - 62 miles away
2) Wallkill Body Shop & Glass Inc - Walkill, NY - 52 miles away
3) Barber Ford - Exeter, PA - 72 miles away
3) Rockland County Auto Body - Haverstraw, NY - 81 miles away

Edit:
*There may be more than what is listed, but this is what is on the Ford site under F-150 Aluminum Repair.

Exactly. He is in a rural area but is 50 - 100 miles from about 10 places that do aluminum F-150 repair. If he drives to Oneonta, Kingston, Middletown he is going to be driving this far anyway. Go ahead and buy the F-150.
09-14's have had aluminum hoods since production began, they've never fixed a hood on one of those?
