Now I'd assume these #s are for the 6.5 or 8' bed single cab... any guess as to what they'd be for a decked out lariat/kr/platinum crew/5.5'/4x4 (3.5)?

Payload is for single cab, 8" box HD (7850 GVWR) package I am sure. GVWR on the 145" screws only get 6900 lbs (at least on the 2.7tt payload.) That means 1960 lbs minus extras.

GCWR should be around 17300 lb for 3.5tt which leave 12300 lb towing in the lightest trucks.
GCWR on the 5.0 will be closer to 16000 which leaves a very generous 11,100 towing

Thanks! This pretty much confirms that GVWR of the 5.0/3.5tt are the same or close to the 2.7tt

A lariat 145" screw with the 2.7tt shows 1960 payload, but that is before the options. Payloads are fantastic this generation!

To me 1790 seems low and perhaps only ~200# higher than a '14...

I believe that 1790# is real world. 2014 Platinum show 1500 lbs, but that quickly goes down to 1200 lbs 'real world' after options.

It is a good increase.

I wonder what a similarly spec'd lariat would be... one weight difference would be the seats... and 18" vs 20"s...
I wish they'd offer the HD payload package in the Lariat w/ the luxury package/other options and not just the base...
