Default New windshield and now my wipers are whacked.

I recently had my windshield replaced and now my auto wipers are extremely sensitive to the point they’re unusable.

Is is there anyway to adjust?

Thank you,

Recalibration at the dealer. It is required anytime the windshield is replaced for auto wipe and lane keeping. It solved my issues.

Thank you,
I would go back to the place that replaced the windshield. Our local glass shop re-calibrates them when they replace the glass. It is part of doing the job correctly. Many new vehicles are auto calibrating now. I just replaced the windshield on my 2019 Ram and didn't need to calibrate but had to on the 2006 car.

I've had 2 windshield replacements. Never had any issues with auto wipers, auto high beam or lane keeping. I guess my local glass shop does the re-calibration as part of the install. I know Toyota is very picky about who performs re-calibrations on their trucks. My son works at a Toyota dealer (still drives a Ford though) and his shop does a huge amount of glass replacements using aftermarket glass but get the Toyota approval for the re-calibration process.

Thanks. I did pay $300 for recalibration. I wasn’t aware it included auto wiper function.

Is there a way that the owner can do the recalibration?
