I had a 2.5 autospring installed on my 15 f150. Cv angles are pretty steep. My cv boots are leaking grease now. I just had the kit installed. Is it possible that a very steep angle will puncture the boot or is it a shop error. Both sides are leaking from a hole that seems like a pinch on the thicker side of the boot

Just curiosity on my end. What did you lose with this setup in mpg?

You say "had"...did you replace it with another spacer?

Can you post a side picture to see how much your tires stick out? At full turn is there any space to make you think you could have gone any bigger on the tires?

Just curious. Can you snap a picture of your CV angle. Thinking hard on the 2.25 RL spacer

mxer90 nice looking rig! She's got a great stance! Did tinting your tail lights affect the bliss system on your truck? Also, have you re-calibrated your speedo after the bigger tires, and if so, how? Thanks!

What backspacing and offset are you running on the wheels, and what is under the hood?

Very mean and clean looking rig though!

I'm looking into tires now, and I've never had this much trouble before, but because of the crash bars I feel like it's going to be near impossible to get something right. I won't be getting 20's, but I would like a -12 offset so the OP wheel/tire setup suits me just fine. I just want to find a thread that goes into offset & tire size (that way the diameter of the rim doesn't matter) so i can figure out what I need. I tried to start one, but that didn't last long. I am of the minority that wants to downsize the rims .

Anyone know of a thread that dives into that specifically? I guess I'm also going to install a little smaller block (2") but I'm not sure that'll effect the rubbing on the crash bar too much.

Good looking truck fellas!

I should have the level, wheels, and tires on by the end of this week hopefully. Went with 18x9 with -12 offset and 275/70/18 KO2's. I will report back on how it turned out. Like you I wanted to go bigger on the tires but did not want to do any modification to the crash bars.
