Here’s one counterpoint for the sake of argument:
the raptor is aggressively styled. It is made to really leap at you and make you buy emotionally. The other side of the coin is that it is going to be hideously ugly sooner than its non-Raptor cousin. An example would be the Lamborghini Countach- very faddish and sexy for a while and then HIDEOUS!
The opposite would be the Porsche 911- tame compared to the Lambo, but only needs mild updates over the years and holds its value much, much better.

BUT... The Raptor is S-E-X-Y!

Go for it. You can always trade out again in a few years but you can experience a Raptor!

No panoramic roof? Do it! Well I mean do it if its affordable to you. I ordered a platinum with no roof because of the countless problems I hear about

If you hate a comfortable ride and dislike retaining value, then you shouldn't trade.

I bought my 15' last year, I put 4k miles on it, it is a spare ride, Raptor will be the wife's, She put's about 4k a year on cars. So if it beats her up, she only has to drive it for 2 years..LOL
