New Truck Performance is Ridiculous

I have a '17 Supercrew with the 5.0 and 3.31. I bought it used less than 3 weeks ago and I am still amazed at the power this truck has. Can't imagine what you guys with the 3.5EB and better gearing experience. I haven't really taken the time to measure what my mpg should be because I can't keep my foot out of it.

New tech in all the vehicles is amazing. Look at the 4 cylinder Mustangs (yes, Ecoboost), they make the same power as a GT did a few years ago..
Remember the old days, when all you needed to tune a car was a socket set, screw driver and a timing light?
For a "cold air intake", you just flipped the lid on your air filter!

Some of you may be old enough to remember when 0-60 in under 10 seconds was the domain of serious performance cars (Corvette, Porsche etc).
Today we had some time at the dealer waiting on a Buddies F150 Trans Recall to be checked. He has a Gtech Pro RR(?) that has proven to be pretty accurate so we decided to play.
2018 F150 XL 4x2
RCSB 3.3L 3.55
101A Chrome Package
53B Hitch Package
Average 0-60 6.5 Seconds.
Buddy drove since he is lighter.
I can't vouch for absolute accuracy but still is that ridiculous or what?
Guess it helps to be 1000 lb lighter than my Supercrew 302A 4x4 3.5EB.

From what ive seen, the 18 3.5 and 5.0 are pretty equal. I had a loaner 18 3.3 and it really supersized me. I like them all, I really don't understand all the chest beating within the Ford community.
