I used to drive my pickups for a living so I put ridiculous miles on them, now I walk to work but still average 30,000+ a year, these were the last 4 trucks, first two is when I was on the road.

1992 F-250 7.3 sold in 99 860,000 miles

1999 F-350 7.3 sold in 2006 730,000 miles

2006 Lincoln Mark LT 5.4 traded in 2014 230,000 miles

2014 F150 5.0 current truck 101,000 miles

Looking at ordering a 2018 now.

When my wife and I got married we knew our chosen professions weren't going to earn us much money. So we made a deal that we would have only one vehicle payment at a time. We've stuck to that almost 20 years later, so that means we hang on to vehicles for 11-12 years. Right now it's my turn and in about 4 years she will get a new ride. My next truck will come in about 2026-2027
