Ok so one thing that pisses me off... Falken advertises this tire size to have 18/32nds of tread, I just measured them after driving less than 3 miles and they're right on 17/32nds.
As tires are recommended for replacement at 4/32nds, that 1/32nd that is missing means they actually have over 7% less tread than advertised. That's a dramatic difference.

We've had the wild peaks on our 4runner for about 20k miles now and they still look brand new! Most of our driving is highway but when we drive on trails or in the sand they perform great. They have gotten a little noisier, but much quieter than the ko2s. I'll definitely be getting a set for the f150 when it's time for rims/lift.

Yeah they had the stickers still on them when they arrived, so they were defs brand new. I double checked the build date and they were built april of 2017 so fresh tires.

very curious about these tires especially snow performance. i live in ontario on the south shore of georgian bay lake huron. we get lots of heavy lake effect snow i dont drive my truck enough to justify the cost of snow tires and rims so im looking for a good all terrain to bridge the gap between the terrible goodyears and a full set of snows. also any rubbing with the 9 wides?

Whoa my fuel economy took a MUCH bigger hit than I expected... I was averaging 10.8l/100km (~22 mpg) before and this last tank (first one on the big meats) is 13.7l/100km (17mpg...)
I expected to lose a mpg or two, but not five. wow.

Along with tire diameter, tire *weight* can have an impact. A heavier tire needs more torque to start moving and more brake to slow.
But, hey, who cares? As long as it looks kewl.

I just put the same size tires on my truck. I lost about 3mpg. I think part of the reason is your speedometer/computer doesn't know that. It still thinks your on 32 inch tires but on 33,s you are putting more miles on than it thinks you are.
