A question for y'all:
I have a pretty nasty scratch on the left side of the center console - any recommendations on painting and/or removing it? I just noticed it today but I'm sure it wasn't there when I picked it up from the dealer.
It's the dark grey color on the side of the console.
The guy that fixed my interior, a week after I brought it home, was the private small business guy that many different dealerships in the area use for their repairs. Has a mobile repair station/truck. He fixed a scratch in my Lariat door with a heat gun and a piece of parchment paper that was wrinkled up to kind of blend in with the grain of the material. He then wiped in a bit of shoe/leather dye of similar color with a rag. Heated it a bit to cure and touched it up with some shoe polish. It looks great. Give it a shot.
