Thanks
All of the stuff you need to know to calculate your discount and how other fees are treated is repeated throughout many posts. You need to read from Post# 3051 (where I chimed in to get the thread to be meaningful) to at least Post#6000 if you really want to learn everything the right way and maximize your savings. If you just skip around and read random posts, you will not comprehend it correctly. I've contributed over 1,500 posts to this thread about F150 Prices & Profit Margins, Calculations, Buying Strategy, Negotiation Techniques and Dealiar Tricks and Schemes. All of this info is way to much for me to repeat. You'll also read about how to go about increasing your chance to obtain a PCO.
You need to lock yourself up in a room somewhere and do an all-nighter to read through without distraction otherwise if you do it in bits and pieces on a cellphone you just won't comprehend it. If you're planning an end of year buy then you need to know learn everything now because an average negotiation process is 2-3 weeks.
As an FYI, you'll read about 10-13% True Dealiar Discounts but that is what they can potentially go up to. Unfortunately there are many regions throughout the US where Dealiars appear to be lock-stepped together in a collusion type manner where they hold to a maximum discount threshold of 8-9%. Tennessee happens to be the latter so don't get your hopes up and don't make the mistakes that many others make with unreasonable expectations.
Start here with post #3051 (you may have to adjust after landing on the thread in case you have set more posts per page in your User Profile)

So I called Ford and found out I have a PCO that expires Jan 2nd. I was thinking about a custom build. Problem is that it wouldn't arrive till after the PCO expires. Ideas? Can they apply it anyway since the order was placed before expiration? Or else what is the likelihood of getting another PCO or extension to this one?
