Please post a link, to the Ryobi you have. I just want it to be able to break the lugnuts loose.

320 ft/lb is not enough to break really stubborn lug nuts off. That Dewalt gun is probably a better choice with up to 700 ft/lb torque
That is a torqued on lugnut...lucky it isn't galling threads. Of all my vehicles, the wifes Dodge has the highest torque at 130 ft-lbs. My Subaru is 85 ft-lbs.

If you're only planning on using it around the house then just get a corded one. Save yourself some money and aggravation. Replacement batteries are expensive.

I understand why you would want a nice impact wrench... but it's definitely more of a want than a need.

I've been swapping tires on my vehicles for years, and I only just got an air impact last year. It does make things easier. But like I posted in another thread, my jack and stands remain to be the best money I've ever spent. Good sockets and wrenches, I don't even think about--they're a necessity. An impact wrench... it's nice, but if you're building up a tool collection as it sounds you might be, consider that your money may be better spent elsewhere.

Of course, if all you ever want to do is rotate your tires and nothing else, an impact wrench might be a good idea. But consider looking around for a used compressor and air tool kit on CL or something. A compressor is indispensable. And I found a really nice set of well-cared for air tools (impact, ratchet, paint gun, sockets, etc.) for like $50.

The F150 lug nuts calls for 150 ft/lb. That ryobi struggled to break it loose. Not to mention there are 24 of them. I broke out the air gun instead of killing the battery.

Even though I have an impact, I am still a creature of habit and use a breaker bar to get them to start moving and then zip them off with the impact. In my eyes, the few extra minutes will prevent me(or at least more likely) from having to replace a wheel stud.

I have a Dewalt 18v 1/2 impact that I carry in my truck. Got it from Lowes for $150 without the battery a while back. But I have about 7+ 18v batteries laying around and carry at least two on the road. This impact will take your lugs off but depending on the condition of the battery you may want to have some spares.
