Thanks,
I am enjoying the F150 I am glad I went with the 4" lift. Although the 6" that was on my 2008 F150 seemed to work well. The tires fit the wheel wells nicely with 4" lift. Both are/were Pro comp.

Would you mind sharing the details of your re-gear experience? Who did it, what was the cost? Seriously considering doing the 3.31 to 3.73 re-gear as well...

I looked at a gear chart compared the stock setup as per chart. I decided to use 3:73 gears from looking at a chart (google search)
I was advised to go with 4:10 gears.
In looking into my options I found out that I had an 8.8 diff in the rear not a 9.75 like in most f150's
I had trouble finding the 4.10 gears for the rear.
I also found that ford had a good price on the kits. The 3.73 ring and pinion kit for the front and rear diff's. I bought my parts at my local ford even though I could find them cheaper at Tasha parts. I wanted a local place in case of a problem. The gears are quiet.
I wanted them installed while I was having the lift done to save some labor on the frt diff r&r.
At 70 my truck is going 74
I drive up this 3 mile mountain road every day 6% grade. My truck is lower geared by just a little. It pulls the 35's well.
I am happy with the way the gearing feels. Just a little lower than stock

I hope I answered your questions. What differential is in your truck 8.8 or the 9.75

Default more upgrades

Once I put the camper shell on, the truck had the cali rake. The front was higher.
I bought some coil overs from Fox. Then I bought the Auto Spring add a leaf.

After I installed the coil overs and add a leaf the truck is sitting much nicer. turned out perfect.
The back came up 1.5" the front came up 1". After driving around all weekend I find that the coil overs have settled some, as expected. it looks like about .5' has settled back down. so now the front is only .5 higher than when the lift was done.
