Default New F150 Owner in need of a Tonneau Cover

Hey everyone,

Just as the title suggests I'm in need of a tonneau cover. Just bought a 2017 F150 supercrew with the 5.5 bed, and curious to know what some good tonneau covers are. Ive never bought one before, and really not sure what I would want a cover to have as far as any features. Any help is greatly!!

What type? Roll up or folding? Fabric or solid?

Not too sure, maybe fold and I would think solid. I don't haul much, but just have never owned a cover before.

I prefer the Access brand fabric roll-up. The best I've ever owned.

It depends on your needs as to what you want. Some want the security of the locking, solid fold up. They also make aluminum rolling units that disappear. The list is endless.

Hi! I bought the BAK Industries Revolver X2 Hard Rolling Truck Bed Cover. It is great! it rolls up very easy. It has extruded aluminum with vinyl over it. It also sits level with the bed rails, so it looks great!

I just (week ago) got a BakFlip MX4. It's a hard, tri fold cover. I like it so far, but it's not as waterproof as I would have liked. Not a big deal for me, as I bought it more for security then waterproofness. Here's some pix of mine on my new 18 XLT Sport..
