New F150 Owner in need of a Tonneau Cover

I have the MX4 as well and have had no issues with it leaking. I did see after install that the rubber strip running from front to back was sticking up a bit and not sitting down on the rubber running across the tailgate, so I took some super glue and put a dab on each side and held it down while drinking a cold beer. Results are that I have zero leaks after spraying with a pressure washer

You guys who have the MX4 and no water leaking issues.. do you have plastic drop in bed liners? This is starting to **** me off how much mine leaks, especially after hearing all the reviews from everybody here saying theirs doesn't leak.. I hope I didn't get a lemon, but with my luck, I wouldn't be surprised.

I don't have a drop in liner...I've been wanting to get Line-X in the bed but haven't had a chance yet. The only minor issue I seen on my cover was what I described above and it was a super easy fix.

If your looking at the soft roll-ups, be sure to take a look at Truxedo's Lo Pro QT. I got mine at truck alterations as well, and the lo pro does have a lifetime warranty.

Here’s mine - LEER 750 Sport. Everyone has their own taste/needs. I like the security, the cosmetic appeal, and the bed stays completely dry. It can be removed but it isn’t as easy as some of the fold ups out there. Anyways, here it is.

Gator or Peragon
I have had a few different types. I just bought myself a 2017 SCREW witht he short bed and am about to pull the trigger on the Gatortrax retractable tonneau cover, not only for the appearance but also because it locks up and the tailgate and cover operate independently of each other. The only downfall is that it has the container that it rolls into, which is 11" by 11". But if you take a look at it, it is maintenance free.
Also, take a look at a company called Peragon. They make an all aluminum cover that folds up in a way that is different than a retractable and only takes up 6" of the front of the bed when retracted. It is also easily removable for 1 person which allows you to have access to your whole bed.
My last cover was the fiberglass lid. I did like that it kept all the water out, but it was impossible to remove with 1 person and you couldn't haul big things.
The ones I recommended I know are on the more expensive side, but If I am gonna fit my new 50K truck with a lid, its gonna be the one I am happiest with.
