Sam's Club has free 3 year replacement on their batteries - no pro-rating. The prices are very good. Have been using these batteries for a while now and the branding changes. Had been Energizer and is now Duracell. Like a previous poster said - most batteries are now made by only a small number of manufacturers. Have never had one of Sam's batteries fail, but I replace them after four years before the next winter. I know people that try to hang onto batteries forever. But, my opinion is that with these newer trucks, the battery is very important to overall operation. Cheap insurance against electronic problems.

Most batteries are made by Johnson Controls or Exide, they just slap different labels on them. I recently replaced the 4 year old Autozone Duralast battery in my Acura (the heat in the south is hard on them) for a Costco Interstate battery. If you took the labels off you wouldn't know the difference, they were identical. Except the Costco battery was about $30 cheaper.

Walmart has batteries in about the three most common sizes for 47-49 dollars. I've bought several of these and couldn't be happier.
Pick one up and then pick up the high dollar branded battery. The weight's are the same or similar.
No warranty though.

That's what she said...
Think about a bigger one
From Battery tray space thread
But we are really looking for higher "reserve capacity" rather than CCA.
Any rec's on higher reserve capacity batteries?

And ReviewData adjusrs it from 4.9 to... 4.9. (ReviewData strips out unverified and review-item reviews and regrades from verified purchasers. These tools are a good idea, but there is no science to prove them. They're aimed to sell their own product and they don't rate products, they rate reviews.
I have one of these in each vehicle, five in all and all no-name brands. The only failure I ever had (an indicated failure to charge) was on top-brand Anker. To be fair, that one was kept in my rock-crawler UTV. These things are pretty much commodities.

Actually they (NOCO) are among the worst...

"When it came to jump-starting vehicles, performance between the units was nearly identical."
So how did they rate them? They all worked the same for cars so CR marked them down on cell charger time and unacceptable if they didn't have a laptop port. Seriously?
Here's another tip I learned. In cold weather, turn on the flashlight function for a minute or two. These are lithium batteries. They release energy better when warm.

Consumer reports should be the last you listen to! LOL. Do you remember the GM truck fires and Suzuki rollorver fake articles by them? I guess not
